Lauren Cook
Lauren Cook’s experience in the life science industry includes the development and implementation of strategic marketing campaigns for internal and external audiences for human health and animal health. Lauren’s areas of expertise include concept development, strategic planning for marketing and sales, marketing project management, branding, copywriting, website content development, social media, and video production. In addition to marketing communications, she works with internal departments including HR, finance, training and R&D to develop presentations and communication materials. Lauren graduated from Sarah Lawrence College.
Katherine Moldave
After holding several positions in the Central Marketing and Global Marketing organizations of Merck AgVet and Merial, Katherine Moldave co-founded the animal health clinical CRO AlcheraBio in 2001. She became Vice President – Market Support when the company was acquired by Argenta at the end of 2008. During her tenure at AlcheraBio, Katherine co-authored peer-reviewed publications emanating from clinical studies overseen by AlcheraBio; wrote or co-wrote several significant industry reports as well as articles appearing in AnimalPharm; developed three RACE-accredited courses: canine pain management, immunology, and companion animal dentistry; spoke at animal health conferences; conceived and oversaw market research projects; conducted opportunity assessments; and managed numerous AlcheraBio projects and business functions. Katherine serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Alliance for Contraception in Cats & Dogs (ACC&D). In 2013, she researched and wrote the ACC&D e-book Contraception and Fertility Control in Cats and Dogs. She has a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Jay Moldave
Jay Moldave is an accomplished visual communications strategist and graphic designer. He began his career as the Art Director at PSEG, went on to be Creative Director at several agencies, and ultimately founded his own marketing communications company. Jay has developed and implemented a numerous campaigns for organizations of all sizes and industries including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, animal health, financial services, automotive, the arts, architecture, construction, manufacturing, education, telecommunications, and human resources. He works in a wide range of electronic and print media. Jay has a BA in Fine Arts with a Minor in Pre-Med from Adelphi University, and studied at the School of Visual Arts with Milton Glaser.
